For our next theme, I want—and don’t want—to talk about m-o-n-e-y.
Louise Hay, founder of Hay House publishing, said it was easier to lead a workshop about sexuality than one about money.
My fear is this theme could have the same outcome as my ‘professional dress for the executive woman’ series, which caused half of all readers to flee.
But money is on my mind, so that’s where I’m headed. I want to follow the thread of money through my family and examine the money stories that played out around me.
Maybe you’ll reflect on your own money stories. Maybe you’ll vote with your feet. I hope that if you’re not happy with this topic, you’ll let me know. There’s no point in me blathering on about something that doesn’t interest you.
That’s the topic change, there’s also a format change.
Starting next week, these Sunday notes will be available in audio format. If you’d like to listen instead of read, options are:
- Click the link to the audio version in the email, or
- Listen to Jule Kucera: Reflections on your favorite podcast app
I’m keeping the schedule of publishing audio episodes on Saturday and the written version on Sunday. If you have a need for speed, the podcast will have the weekly reflection first.
Thank you for keeping me company on this ride, while neither of us is completely sure where we’re headed. I appreciate that you’re here.
Chewing the Cud of Good
Thankful for Hernán Braberman, a brand design expert in Buenos Aires that I met in the Akimbo podcast workshop. When I messaged Hernán the new cover art for my podcast, he sent it back. Better.
I like Before & Afters. In case you’re curious, here’s the before:
