“Her mind can no longer hold her secrets.”
My friend Stephanie said that, after I’d told a story from the past, released by my mother’s mind. The walls are coming down.
When my next-door neighbor Jim asks how my mom’s doing, he’s assuming there’s current grief because of her current state.
There is that, and it’s a layered grief, sedimentary, with unearthed stories that shed a different light. Or a darker shade of gray.
Yesterday, I had 15-minute ‘speed dating’ calls with my two therapist finalists. After the call with the second, I hung up and thought, “I found the one!”
Then I sent the link to the therapist’s website’s About page to my friend Laurie, the psychologist.
Laurie wrote back, “She seems FABULOUS for you…BRAVO !!!!!”
Yay!
~Phew~
Here we go!
Chewing the Cud of Good

Thankful for love from our fur family.
(After last week’s note about the Love Bucket, my friend Chris sent this photo of her cat snuggling into her lap.)
